  • If a family’s primary language spoken is anything other than English

  • If a child has a parent who has not graduated Highschool

  • If a child has been a part of a report for child abuse or neglect

  • If a parent is struggling with substance abuse

  • If a child has lost a parent (this can include death, divorce, incarceration, military service, general absence)

  • If a child has a parent under the age of 20 yrs at the child’s birth

  • If a child is a resident in a high risk neighborhood (this includes an area of high poverty, high crime, or limited access to community resources)

  • If a child has had prenatal or postnatal exposure to toxic substances
